Measure D

Passed by Santa Cruz County voters in November 2016, Measure D is a half-cent sales tax that funds transportation projects for a 30-year period. Potential transportation projects include:

  • road maintenance (e.g., pothole repair, road repaving)
  • bike and pedestrian pathways
  • safer routes to schools

Since its implementation, Measure D has been used to:

  • fund King's Village sidewalks improvement
  • repave and add bike lanes for Green Hills Road
  • widen, resurface, and add bike lanes to Glenwood Drive
  • improve the K Street and Glenwood Trail parking lots
  • improve the East Glenwood Trails
