Throughout 2023, we will be working on a Parks Master Plan and a Recreation Strategic Plan. These two guiding documents will help show us a path to what our community wants to see in Scotts Valley in the next 5-10 years. It is a critical process that allows us to hear from the community and make sensible budget decisions on how to improve our parks.

Park and asset inventory - looking at what we currently have in our parks and spaces.

April -

Community Outreach - our survey will be open and we want to hear from the community!  TAKE SURVEY NOW!

May-July

Look at the data and see what the needs are. Develop a draft plan.

September

Present information to the Parks and Recreation Commission.

October

Receive input on the proposed plan.

November - December

Fine tune and adjust plan.

February

Present to City Council for adoption.
