Skateworks Skateboarding Camp focuses on a wide range of skateboarding skills. Starting with the basics of balancing, riding and safety, we work to develop each skater’s confidence and skills along with vital technique and skatepark etiquette.
Skaters will learn a variety of skills on the various transitions and obstacles in the skatepark. Our camp is open to skaters of all ability levels. It's a great opportunity for beginners to learn the basics, and offers plenty of expert instruction for intermediate to advanced skaters to level up, and learn new tricks.
Our camp is open to all skaters and genders ages 6-15. Participants must bring their own helmet and pads. Skaters should wear comfortable clothing and appropriate shoes (no Crocs or sandals) and bring a water bottle, and snack if needed. Skateworks staff can provide a skateboard for those who do not have their own.
We are proud to announce that Legendary Santa Cruz pro, Emmanuel Guzman will be the lead instructor of our spring break camp. "Eman" is a pillar of the local skate community, with a pro career spanning 2 decades. He is excited to share his Passion, and love of skateboarding with our campers this spring & summer!
